MISSION
Arroyo Grande is a true gem in Slo County California whose message didnβt deliver on the experience of visiting the area. Bogged down by traditional tactics and conventional creative, the organization hired Commune to breathe new (and measurable) life into the historic town.
METHOD
Commune began by employing a new digital media plan, foregoing hard to measure and traditional social media tactics with a robust digital marketing framework that targeted those expressing interest in the area and inspiring consideration among the unaware. This included mapping techniques that correlated metrics directly to the hotels responsible for funding the initiative.
MAGIC
With the paid media planning in place, Commune refreshed the creative campaign to move beyond βShop, Dine, Playβ conventions that could have easily represented most cities across the country. We captured the essence of the town and built a new campaign truly unique to AG that when combined with the highly targeted media approach, immediately started to put the hidden gem on the map, while driving measurable revenue and visits.
