We paid a visit to City Hall today to check out some of our work in support of the #lbcap and this year’s Earth Day theme of #planetvsplastics . We discovered that the behaviors that lead to a long, healthy life also happen to be great for the planet we all share, and plastics are just one great example. Follow @lbsustainability for continued ways to not only live sustainably, but also benefit your personal health and wellbeing in the process.

Throwing some friendly shade never hurt anyone, right? ? 👀

When it comes to a cause as important as @AidsWalkLA 2023—an annual event put on by @APLAHealth that’s been raising HIV awareness for over 35 years—there’s no room to tiptoe around. So we called out the ghosters, bailers, and all potential flakers right on their home turf.

Did we hit a sore spot with the website that revealed your flaker zodiac sign, the FOMO-inducing t-shirts, the bill posters, the bar coasters, the…urinal stickers? Maybe a bit. But when we challenged Angelinos to push through their renowned flakiness and actually show up, they did so in spades.

And with an end result of over $1.3 million raised for vital healthcare services in Los Angeles County, we’d say the ribbing was well worth it. Way to show up, LA!  👏
